F.Y.P.1 ~ 5th Week: #Research - Micro-Controller Part 1

In this project, I would like to choose a better circuit for servo controller.

To construct the servo controller circuit, there are two types of circuit need to be select that will be apply in this project, which is Programmable Logic Circuit (PLC) or Peripheral Integrated Circuit (PIC). From every each hardware, try to get the result and make analysis for every hardware circuit. The cost of benefit analysis which considers the cost of outage and the cost of controller circuit will also be performed to ensure that the Quadrapod robot design configuration at a right cost.

Peripheral Intergrated Circuit (PIC)

Basically, PIC is based from PLC. Usually, it is costing to build with a single PIC based project rather than to with build a PLC based project. This is because of the development costs to design the circuit.

Programmable Logic Circuit (PLC)

A PIC seems as if it could easily take the place of a PLC for an application that doesn't require the flexibility PLC's offer, like a project that can be developed once and recreated on a large scale. Where am I going wrong, seems to simple of an answer, and since a PIC is expensive as compared to a PLC. But a PIC would need a suitable circuit built around it to work like a PLC.

In this case, I would choose PIC as a base circuit for Robot servo controller.
